- Get angled cable strain relief here
- edit: be aware that the angled cable strain relief works only with 10mm Z-Axis Mod.
For standard Bear X-Axis you can turn the X-Motor 90 degree counterclockwise to have
enough space. Thanks to @ark0508 who suggested this solution. - The opening to the SD card has been increased in height to make it easier to change.
- The countersunk holes on the lid are bigger. Screwheads should now aligned with the surface.
- New parts are named *_v2, old parts have moved to folder “old”
- Added V3. Added even bigger opening to reach SD-Card.
Added opening in lid for PSU cables when PSU is mounted outside a enclosure.
Print settings
- 0.2mm layer height
- 4 perimeter
- 5 top - bottom layer
- Don't forget to use support under the overhang
BOM
- Raspberry Pi 3b
- DC-DC converter LM2596
- 4040 fan (optional)
- 5x Heat inserts M3x5x4, two extra if using fan
- 2x M3x16 button head for fan
- 3x M3x10 countersunk for cover
- 3x M2.5x6 for Raspberry Pi
- 2x M3x6 for DC-DC converter
Three heat inserts are needed for the cover. Two for the DC-DC converter.
I recommend to use a cable guide for X-Motor cable to prevent the cable get caught by the case like this one.
I'm already working on a version which provides more space between cable and case.
Happy printing!
