Description
A Kant twist style clamp, mostly 3d printed except for hardware. I may come back and do a fully 3d printed version and see how strong it is. Mostly this was a bit of fun for me to enter a clamp into the design competition.
There are 4 different sides to the jaws, depending on what you want to clamp.
Everything printed on Prusa MINI+. I printed these test parts in PLA, and printed the jaws in TPU.
.2mm layer height
3x perimeters
30% infill
It can be helpful to put some thread locker compound on the M5 nut, and M5 end cap to add some resistance to the M5 hex nuts so they do not slip as easily.
M5-0.8 x 80mm socket head cap screw
2x M5x6x7mm heatset insets
2x M5 hex nut
4x M3x5x4mm heatset inserts
8x M3 square nuts
4x M3x6mm button head cap screws
3x M3x22mm button head cap screws
5x M3x30mm button head cap screws
