Description
This is a bracket for mounting a rocker switch to the front of the Anet A8 3D printer, for turning it on and off. It attaches by removing a single M8 nut from the right side of the printers face, so long as you have 2mm of thread to spare. Otherwise, it could be installed on the backside of the face, but that would require a little more work.
I recommend heat shrinking the terminals connecting to the switch, whether you solder or crimp. I would also suggest double insulating before wire tying the AC wires to the all-thread. I used some of the left over plastic wrap supplied with the A8 for cable management.
I made this, I suppose, because I'm just too lazy to reach behind my printers to turn them on and off.
