Individual Cigarette Container

This case is designed to contain a single king sized cigarette. It will keep a single cigarette safe from exposure to the elements, or from being crushed. It could be used directly for preserving any cigarette sized item, or could be scaled up to protect much larger items.

If you're working to quit smoking all together, but the thought of carrying a single remnant cigarette would give you peace of mind, this might be exactly what you need. One could carry a single cigarette, knowing that a single relapse might be contained to a single smoke, as opposed to starting a new pack, which might result in undoing significant progress.

It could also be said that the person who can quit smoking while having immediate access to a previous dependence, without falling back into old habits, has achieved a greater victory. That's probably a stretch... This case is pretty much intended to house a security blanket, but a very small one. :)

07302020 Over time, I decided there were two things I didn't like about this container. I never liked the octagon outer shell. It troubled me when I made it initially that the two halves would never line up properly, which is why I made the threaded areas of the shell round. I wasn't happy with the small size of threads in version 1 because they didn't print cleanly on one of my printers.

Version 2 is simply a round 2 piece tube with larger threads. Version 2 is the model I use for carrying my individual cigarette sized items for general use, so I decided to throw it up here. The new files are labeled with "V2" in their name.
