This mod allows you to install the front Y belt on the side of your table
This way you can access the whole worktop either from the front or the side, plus you get a nice and clean benchtop by just parking the LR3 to one side (no need to remove belts)

The new printed parts are colored in yellow in the pictures:

• [1x] Y extension plate (milled or printed)
• [4x] Y extension plate spacer (* see notes bellow)
• [1x] Side mounted Y Tension Base
• [1x] Side mounted Front Y Belt Base

Notes about plate thickness
The design is heavily dependent on the plates thickness, and he spacers need to be adjusted depending on:

• The thickness of the YZ plate
• The thickness of the Y extension plate
• The distance you want to leave between the bearings and the side of the table

The design is parametric, so this can easily be adjusted, or you’ll need to calulate the spacer’s size depending on your setup.
