Description
While travelling during the summer vacation, I came to think about the usual way AirTags are used; hide it and hope that it is difficult to find it after the thieve’s iPhone sends out the notification about someone “following” you.
When I came home I decided to take a bit different approach; hide them in plain sight and then make them more difficult to get rid off…
The bag strap AirTag holder was born.
The print doesn’t require any supports, and you can easily add your own text or design on the front if you so desire.
If you are slicing the .stl files yourself, you need to add a pause on the print so you can add the captive nuts.
Alternatively you can just use the .gcode files I’ve provided as those has the pause included.
You have the choice of three different strap thicknesses: 1mm, 1.5mm and 2.5mm. Select the one that fits with your bag the best.
The only available strap width supported right now is 35mm as most of my bags has that wide straps. If you need different widths, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
You need 6x 5mm M3 bolts for the spots with the embedded nuts, and 2x M3 bolts with the correct length depending the strap thickness you need.
