Description
The original fins were too narrow and easily split. I thickened the base and kept the tips narrow. It will flex to pop into the slots without splitting. Extrusions vary slightly and you'll need to adjust the width to fit. Also, be mindful to get good layer adhesion so the fins will resist splitting.
Layer size: 0.10 or 0.15, infill 100%
Width: ~0.30 or less, fins should be solid at middle height, above that a gap will be fine, YMMV.
Adjust width, Scale widthwise:
Make 10 copies and scale each 1% larger (or smaller) than the last and test for good fit, you'll want a snug but not tight fit, snug enough the cover does not slide too easily.
Length, Scale lengthwise as needed.
I prefer to make a lots of long pieces and cut to size with a hobby razor saw. You can of course scale to exact size if you prefer. Cut upside down with a finger on the fins to keep them from splitting.
