Description
The original lens hood was like 20 bucks, so I made my own.
Depending on your printer, you may have to carefully file down the tiny plastic tab a little bit so that it snaps in more easily.
Since I couldn't find accurate dimensions of the original lens hood anywhere I had to eyeball some of them a little bit. It could probably be a few mm longer and still not cause any vignetting, but I played it safe and it gets the job done anyway.
I hope this helps someone saving some cash on overpriced Nikon accessories, to spend it on more filament for cool projects instead :)
Although not an issue for me on my MK3S+ the tiny extrusions on the first layer might cause you some trouble. In that case I recommend playing with "External perimeters first", that might do the trick.
