Description

This was my attempt of the Third Horizon, back when there were only descriptions but no images of it.

By now, there are official depictions of the Third Horizon which look nothing like what I came up with. The file-names and stand of this model still read Third Horizon though.

This model is 101mm long, 32mm wide and 43mm tall.

Design

I have originally designed this as my interpretation of the Third Horizon, before there were any images of it. Back then, the only thing we had was a description from Light of the Jedi:

"The ship was the Third Horizon, and it was beautiful. The ship’s surfaces rippled along its frame like waves on a silver sea, tapering to a point, with towers and crenellations along its length, like a fortress laid on its side, all wings and spires and spirals." [Soule, Charles. Star Wars: Light of the Jedi, Chapter Four]

Print Instructions

Printed at 0.1mm layer height. Requires supports on buildplate.

Double scale was printed at 0.15mm and requires supports as well.

The stand can be printed at a higher layer height and does not require supports. I've added filament changes to separate the base, writing, and arms.
