I had just bought my second nozzle when it hit me, I'll need some way to store the extra, so I started looking. I've found this design by worstcase but it looked too much, with space for four nozzles and the adapter.
So I remixed it to be smaller and only hold two nozzles.
In the process, I've made a couple of changes:
- Holds two nozzles instead of four nozzles and the adapter
- Played a bit with tolerances to have them uniform
- Simplified some parts of the models
- Added some chamfers on some places to improve printability
- Mirrored the design on the bottom so you can keep the lid attached to the bottom while the box is opened
- Made the lettering to not mention the printer model so you can have the same lid for MK4 and XL
- Instead of relying on small tolerances, which can be easily affected by machine variations, I've added two holes on the box and two protrusions on the lid that click together. This will ensure that the lid is securely closed and will not come off accidentally.
