Plague Doctor bust and earrings

A remix of the fantastic model from Sandpiper. It's great decoration for example for halloween.

The original model is primarily designed for printing in a special cut into 3 parts - body, beak and hat. The disadvantage of this original cut is the need to use supports for the hat. So I created an alternative cut in two halves where no supports are necessary. I also made smaller variants with custom (scaled) mounting holes (you can use bits of filament for these).

And if you like this model, you can print a small alternative in the form of earrings :)

Printing (general):

  • PLA filament (I used Prusament Mystic Brown)
  • You can use bits of filament for mounting holes and glue the parts together
    • Attention! If you scale the model, remember that the mounting holes will also change

Printing (original cut):

  • Body and beak - no supports needed
  • Hat - you will need supports

Printing (my 2-parts cut or earrings):

  • Without supports

PS: One more kudos for author of original model - Sandpiper. See also other models from this author.

Enjoy!
