Description
I needed to hold a set of Blackmagic Design micro converters in a tidy way. Fortunately they have a nice hole pattern on the side (34mm spacing), which was easy to adapt to DIN rails.
My design forces space between each converter since they use the case a heatsink. I still recommend forcing some airflow over them to maximize lifetime, but this should already help. The converters can be installed and removed from a mounted rail. I use mine with SDI facing down.
You will need (2) M3 screws per mount, I used 8mm length.
Print with the clip side down on the bed, no supports needed. Tested in PLA and ABS with good results.
Edit: Added revB with a wider slot to accomdate hole spaces from 28.5mm to 38mm per some user feedback. It should work for a wider variety of Blackmagic converters though I haven't been able to verify yet.
