Coffin Box

Let me introduce my new coffin shaped shadow box for Halloween

The box has a hinged door that allows you to slide in the different plates.

It's decorated with a skull at the top and 2 crosses on the side panels.

The door has a little tab on the backside for easy opening while the plates are in the box and a friction lock that keeps the door closed.

The Coffin Box is printed using Eryone PLA Black.

Print settings

The box has a print-in-place hinge and friction locking mechanism. The door should open easily after printing.

I recommend you print the testprint.stl to check if your printer is tuned to retain dimensional accuracy while printing the box. You'll have to tune your printer if you're unable to open the door of the box.

I've added a screenshot with the recommended orientation for printing the box. In my experience printing the box with the top on the build plate is the recommended way.
