Description
I designed this particular clothespin as a replacement for one of ours that had worn out (the wooden part is exactly 73mm long, for reference). I was able to match the profile pretty much exactly and I was quite pleased about that. It's a very simple model, but I was happy with the result and thought it was a good example of the kind of little mechanical pieces which 3D printing is great at replacing. As an added bonus, you can also customize your clothespins now.
I printed mine in PETG, but any stiff filament should do the trick. I also increased perimeters to make the part entirely solid for maximum strength/stiffness.
