Description
This bracket was designed as a furniture connector for a small coffee table. The geometry is based on subdivision similar to a Sierpinski triangle, which is then further deformed by dynamic relaxation (via Grasshopper/Kangaroo). A rigid corner bracket is the result. It can be used to stiffen a structure and also scaled to different use cases.
There's a 4-hole and a 6-hole version of the bracket in case you want to use them at corners (screws won't collide).
Geometry was created using Rhino/Grasshopper.
Rendered in Blender/Cycles.
