Description

This is a rod clamp meant to be used with the Repkord RepRack but uses M3 screws instead of the plastite screws: https://www.printables.com/model/129024-reprack-system-by-repkord

Fits Columbia MBF 1/2 inch EMT Conduit purchased at HomeDepot in Canada.  This conduit is described as having an exterior diameter of 0.71 inches which I confirmed with actual measures using a caliper (18mm).  The conduit opening in the clamp is 18.25 mm and the thickness of the clamp is 10 mm.  I provided the OpenSCAD source if you need to adjust the dimensions for your needs.

There are holes for M3 nuts on both sides of the tightening clamp but only one side is needed, the hole on the other side is a nice fit for the M3 screw socket head (despite the hexagonal shape of the hole).  Having HEX shaped holes on both sides allows printing neatly without supports.  The hole for the M3 nut has a very tight tolerance so that the nut won't fall out of it, you can use the OpenSCAD source file to generate a new STL if you need to change the tolerance.  To insert the nut in the hole, you will need to pull it by slowly tightening the screw while holding the nut aligned with the shape of the hole.

I used 10mm M3 screws to tighten the clamps and it fits perfectly.

I used 30mm M3 screws to hold two rod clamps (one on each side) per RepRack bracket.
