It's a small lamp, consisting of 2 3d Printed parts:
- the top, to diffuse light, is printed in vase mode (spiral) our ot white PLA. I tried PETG but it didn't go so welll. You can see that the printed version has some stress marks, which kind of make it a bit more special IMHO
- the bottom is standard 3d printed,m it's designed to be printed upside down so to avoid bad overhangs
The lamp socket is simply screwed, there is no switch since we use an IKEA trädfri buld that is controlled by phone / home assistant.
I included:
- raw model, from CAD
- model with my slicing options (_slice)
- gcode
Mine are printed on Prusa I3 MK3s, top is out of Verbatim white PLA, bottom is Prusament PLA Galaxy black.
I needed 3 tries to print the shade:
- first one was out of PETG and not transmitting enough light. Also I manage to mess my measurement and the bulb was not fitting :-)
- second was out of PLA, I broke it while removing from the build plate (too hot, too eager)
- thirs one worked like a charm, no issue since
