Spherical targets for laser scanning

These spherical targets are designed for combining GNSS survey with laser scanning (where conventional flat sheet or turnable targets on walls or tripods can't be used).

You need a 4x4" washer (or similar) to give the target some weight.

Place the Base/Target Support on the ground. It has 3 feet so it can handle non-flat surfaces. There's a small divot in the top of the Target Support for the GNSS pole. This divot lies at the centre of the Sphere.
Once the position has been recorded, place the sphere over the Target Support and commence scanning.
