Description

Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 09 introduced a new mandalorian ship which appeared for only a single scene. It is the ship that took Asohka and Bo-Katan to their meeting with Anakin and Obi-Wan. The design is similar to a Kom'rk/Gauntlet-Fighter, but it is shorter and looks stubbier. Because of this, I have started calling it “Kom'rk'ika” (meaning “little Kom'rk” or “little Gauntlet” in Mando'a).

This is my attempt at modeling a Kom'rk'ika. It lines up more or less with what we see on screen, but it is not a perfect recreation. I am not aware of any canon dimensions for this ship. I scaled it under the assumption that the back is as big in diameter as on a Kom'rk-Fighter. The scale should be somewhere around 1:270.

The model comes in three parts - nose, back and wings. The wings rotate freely around the nose and back.

“kom_rk_ika_nose" has a simple peg which can be used with a holder from here.  It needs supports on buildplate. I have used 0.1mm layer height, but 0.15mm works too.

“kom_rk_ika_back” can be printed at 0.15mm (or lower) layer height and needs supports on buildplate.

There are two versions for the wings. Both need supprts on buildplate. On “kom_rk_ika_wings”, the wings can move up and down, but snap at 90° intervals. Its tricky to print and should be printed at a low layer height. I have used 0.7mm. On “kom_rk_ika_wings_simple” the wings are fixed. This can be printed at 0.15mm layer height.
