Edge Sharpness Tester with fulcrum

A remix of the Edge Sharpness Tester by @leadingedge on Thingiverse.

This is a device for determining the sharpness of knife blades.
Used in conjunction with an accurate kitchen scale, it measures the weight required to cut through a plastic thread. The sharper the blade, the less weight is needed.

I redrew it from scratch as I wanted to adjust the dimensions slightly to fit the M4 threaded sleeves from Ruthex. These are too long for the original model.
I also prepared the lid for the use of 8x3mm magnets so that they would hold well on a magnetic weighing surface.

Finally, I made a fulcrum like the one on the original BESS meter. A standard wine cork can be inserted into the fulcrum to protect the blade. It is also possible to use a magnet here.

Additional materials required 
2x M4 threaded bushes (Ruthex) 
2x M4 knurled screws
3x magnets (8x3mm)

I used fishing line (0.16mm) as the cutting medium.
As you can read in @leadingedge's original description, it may not be as accurate as the original, but I also used a fresh razor blade as a reference and it gives a good guide.

The dimensions of the test jig are 45mm in diameter and 35mm in height,
The Fulcrum has a diameter of 33mm and a height of 45mm.
