Rolling Meter Stick (print-in-place)

While not a precision measuring tool, this hand-held rolling odometer makes quick work of rough measuring jobs. Works great on fabric, walls, plywood, etc.. Just turn the three wheels to read 0.00 and then start rolling out your distance, pushing front wheel forward as shown in the photo and then read the 3 digits above the top bar. The wheels free free spinning, so just don't try rolling too fast! The first wheel reads in increments of 1 cm, an overall, you can measure distances up to 10 m.

Printed in PLA with 0.2mm layers and a 0,4mm nozzle. The axle clearance is 0.25mm, so the wheel should spin freely straight off a well-tuned printer. Rolls great on rough surfaces, but for really smooth surfaces, you'll probably need to add a tiny drop of light oil to the exposed axles on the back side.
