Description
I had several emptry 57mm thermal printer paper roll tubes from a nearby shop and I wanted to recycle them, so I kept them for a long time. Then I realized I could turn them into Lego column pieces.
I designed a simple and a more streamlined version of the top and the bottom parts.
I included the top pieces with built-in supports too if you don't want to tweak your printer too much.
Every printer is different and Lego bricks can be tricky to fit perfectly so I include the source file if you wish to edit the dimensions. I tried to make every dimension parametric so it is very easy to customize.
This model should be printed from PETG, ABS or ASA. No special settings needed just a well calibrated printer.
I include the source files for education and personal purposes but please don't do evil things with it and don't steal this design. If you want to use it for commercial purposes, please contact me and we will find a solution.
I spend countless hours perfecting and testing my designs and I would love to hear your feedback too. If you like my designs I appreaciate a like or a comment. Please post a photo if you print this.
I am open to any kind of donation if you want to support me :)
