Description

We are obsessed with Totoro over here, so after watching the movie a 4th time just this weekend, I had to give this a try. Designed on Nomad Sculpt, the models print well without supports both in mono and multi color.

Check also my other Studio Ghibli models: Kittenbus and Ponyo!

Printing Advice

The models dont require supports, but a brim is advised. The small Totoro model is meant to be printed in single color (white), since the eyes are so small its not worth using the MMU - I just used a toothpick with black acrylic paint to paint the eyes.

The pre-sliced files contains the following recommended settings:

  • 0.20mm quality, infill 10%, enabled brim
  • Seam set to “rear”
  • (MMU) Purge to infill enabled
  • (MMU) Purge volume set to “300” when transitioning from dark to light colors
