Description
Here's my first iteration of the purge bucket for the Geeetech A20M. Installing this along with the tool changing script (tested on Simplify3D Only), will allow the purge to happen within the bucket instead of the printer printing a purge tower. This will reduce waste and also speed up the printing time.
It installs using the existing nuts on the right hand side X-Axis bracket, simply tighten them lock part first instead when reassembling. You'll also need a 3mm thick piece of silicone for the nozzle wipe part. i also use some aluminum tape for the inside of the purge bucket so the hot filament doesn't stick.
I also tend to leave the bottom tray open so the purged filament just falls out of the bucket :)
