Spool for string and similar materials

A really simple and easy to print general purpose spool great for string or any pliable wire or string like materials.

Prints with no support in two parts, flange-side down. I use PLA but any rigid material should work. The two parts screw together, I never used glue but you could.

I've included a STEP and a F3D file for remixing and size adjustment. The Fusion 360 model is parameterized and the height and diameter can be changed by simply double clicking on the measurements as seen below in FUsion 360 design mode. 

There's lots of holes for attaching the material to the core and cleats for securing the working end. One end has ¼" hex hole so you can wind material with an electric drill. If you don't have a ¼" hex allen bit handy, just turn any/screwdriver bit around and use in a drill chuck like:
