Formička na zátku granátu

Tato formička slouží k výrobě silikonových zátek pro airsoftové/paintballové plynové granáty.

Před prvním použitím je dobré jednotlivé dílky formičky zbavit všech případných otřepů a přetoků z tisku aby šla snadno složit a jednotlivé dílky k sobě dobře doléhaly!

Potřebný materiál:

• vytištěná formička
• silikonový tmel (obyčejný sanitární)
• jar na nádobí
• jemný štěteček

• gumičky do vlasů Postup výroby:

  -Nejprve je nutné jednotlivé dílky formičky ošetřit proti přilnutí silikonu. K tomuto účelu nám skvěle poslouží obyčejný jar na nádobí, který v tenké vrstvě naneseme jemným štětečkem na stěny formičky (při větší výrobě lze dílky klidně koupat v jeho roztoku). Poté necháme mírně oschnout.

  -Poté poskládáme čtyři boční dílky do čtvercové základny, srovnáme a zkontrolujeme zda k sobě doléhají.

  -Dále již naplníme formičku silikonem. Ideální množství silikonu je cca 1mm pod horní hranu, ale zarovnat jej s vrchem ničemu neuškodí.

  -Nakonec už stačí pouze opatrně nasadit horní víčko a domáčknout jej nadoraz. Přitom nám začne vytékat přebytečný silikon z otvůrků po stranách.

  -V případě že by silikon při schnutí pěl tendenci mírně nadzvedávat víčko (stalo se mi jen jednou u silikonu neznámé asijské značky), stačí převléknout přes formičku gumičky do vlasů.

  -Čas který potřebuje silikonový tmel ke svému vytvrzení je dost závislý na výrobci, okolní teplotě a vlhkosti, ale běžně se pohybuje okolo 40 – 50 hodin. Zde je tedy nutno počítat s trochou experimentování u prvních kusů.

  -Po vytvrzení by měla jít formička snadno rozebrat a silikonový odlitek by měl být pevný a pružný. Pokud se během vytahování lepí, či trhá, znamená to že není ještě zcela vytvrzen a bude potřeba přidat nějaký čas.

  -Hotové víčko má na sobě otřepy od mezer mezi dílky které lze buďto odstřihnout, či odtrhnout.

This mold is used to make silicone plugs for airsoft / paintball gas grenades.

Before using for the first time, it is a good idea to get rid of any burrs and overflows from the prints in order to be easy to fold and fit the pieces together!

Necessary material:

• printed form
• silicone sealant (ordinary sanitary)
• jar for dishes
• fine brush

• Hair bands Production process:

  -First, it is necessary to treat the individual pieces of the mold against adhesion of silicone. For this purpose we can use a common jar of dishes, which in a thin layer we apply a fine brush to the walls of the mold (during larger production, the pieces can be bathed in its solution). Then let it dry slightly.

  -Then fold the four side pieces into a square base, align and check to make sure they fit together.

  -Next, fill the mold with silicone. The ideal amount of silicone is about 1mm below the top edge, but it won't hurt to align it with the top.

  -Finally, just put the upper lid carefully and press it fully. At the same time, excess silicone starts to leak out of the holes on the sides.

  -In case the silicone will tend to lift the lid slightly when drying (it happened to me only once in the silicone of the unknown Asian brand), just change it through the mold into the hair bands.

  -The time that a silicone sealant needs to cure is quite dependent on the manufacturer, ambient temperature, and humidity, but is typically about 40-50 hours. So here's a little bit of experimenting with the first pieces.

  -After curing, the mold should be easily disassembled and the silicone cast should be firm and flexible. If it sticks or tears during extraction, it means that it is not yet fully cured and you will need to add some time.

  -The finished cap is wearing burrs from the gaps between the pieces that can either be cut off or torn off.
