Benq Screenbar adapter for displays deeper 3cm e.g. from Eizo -- Adapter um die Benq Screenbar für Bildschirme tiefer 3cm zu verwenden z.B. von Eizo

I'm a big fan of the Benq Monitor lights as they offer a simple genius light for your desk. Unfortunately I couldn't use it stock on either of my workspaces without modifications. You can now benefit from my struggles ;D

This adapter allows you to use the Benq Monitor Light (screenbar like the one in the pictures, or screenbar plus) on top of displays that are deeper than 3cm. The adapter uses the original clip of the Screenbar wich fits nicely between the two wings of the adapter.

In the pictures I use the adapter on my Eizo Display that is ~44mm deep.

The model prints without support and I recommend materials that are dull to minimise reflections. In my case the adapter sits safe enough on the screen but some foam rubber can come handy to avoid sliding to either side.

To allow modifications I added the .step file so you can fit the adapter to your monitor if its depth differs from the Eizo Display I have.
