Tertial Lamp Magnifier

An easy and cheap solution for making a lamp with a magnifier.

I came with this design after playing with a Fresnel lens on my desk with a Tertial lamp attached nearby. I thought about it and designed a housing/shell for this small, 85x54mm, flat Fresnel lens. The design is simple and has a snap-fit mechanism to lock the lens inside. It will fit on the lampshade with a small clip which also attaches to the shell with a snap-fit.

I created several images where you can see illustrated steps on how to assemble everything. No supports are needed for this design and with my settings, I managed to print it in 1 hour.

The total cost of this project is around 10-15€ ( 1 Tertial lamp 9€, 1 Fresnel lens 0,55€, and printing… )
