Dune Bull Statue - Atreides Bullfighter

3D printable model of a small statue of Paul Atreides‘ grandfather fighting a bull. It was featured in the 2021 movie Dune.

The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed with small pegs for easy assembly and files that are not cut into smaller pieces. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time. The individual pieces need to be glued together, the muleta should be touching the ground.

SIZE
At 100% scale, the model’s total dimensions are approximately:
Width 132 mm
Length 282 mm
Height 130 mm
You can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size the model will print well.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

Check the "other files" for the separated model. For the best-looking result, print the figures and the pedestal separately. 

We recommend these settings for the print:
- Layer height 0.1 - 0.15 mm
- Infill 15%
- Supports 45° + extra supports for the old duke’s left hand
- 5 mm brim
Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

You can print the 3D model in bronze-colored PLA or post-process it to make it look like the real bronze statue in the movie. 

POST-PROCESSING
- spray filler, sanding
- gold spray paint
- blue-green oil paint (removed on the parts where it gets touched the most)
