Moka Coffee Pot / Cafetera Italiana

This is a design I made out of boredom. It's based (aesthetically) on a Volturno moka coffee pot from Argentina. It's not exactly to scale, and I took a lot of liberties because I wanted to make it really small and fully printable without supports, so I had to come up with some changes to its classic design:

It's optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle/layer width.

Your part cooling fan might make it whistle while printing some parts.

Some parts have to be glued:

• the filter grid
• the handle
• the lid knob
• the preassure valve

It has some overhangs, and it 100% needs a brim or strong bed adhesion, particularly for the thin walls and tiny parts.

The lid I printed with 'mouse ears' and a 0.12mm layer height because of the low angle of the top surface:

The main container has two parts that need bridging. That middle part with that strangely shaped bridge printed pretty well.

It has very tiny holes in the lid hinge, so that might be a bit challenging:

I'd say it's a good test of how well your printer is tuned for bridges, thin walls, tolerances, and overhangs :)

Este es un diseño que hice por aburrimiento. Está basado (estéticamente) en una cafetera tipo italiana de Volturno, Argentina. No está exactamente a escala, y me tomé muchas libertades porque quería hacerla realmente pequeña y completamente imprimible sin soportes, así que tuve que hacer algunos cambios en su diseño clásico. Está optimizado para un ancho de boquilla/capa de 0.4 mm.

Tu fan de capa podría hacerlo silbar mientras imprime algunas piezas.

Algunas partes deben ser pegadas: la rejilla del filtro, el mango, la perilla de la tapa, la válvula de presión. Tiene algunos voladizos, y necesita un brim o una fuerte adherencia a la cama, especialmente para las paredes delgadas y las piezas pequeñas.

La tapa la imprimí con 'orejas de ratón' y una altura de capa de 0.12 mm debido al bajo ángulo de la superficie superior.

El contenedor principal tiene dos partes que necesitan puenteo. Esa parte media con ese puente de forma extraña se imprimió bastante bien.

Tiene agujeros y paredes muy pequeñas en la bisagra de la tapa, así que eso podría ser un poco complicado.

Diría que es una buena prueba de qué tan bien está calibrada tu impresora para puentes, paredes delgadas, tolerancias y voladizos. :)
