SWISS ARMY KNIFE POCKET CLIP

Idea

As a designer and maker having a knife or a multitool is an absolute must for me.
In fact, I always have my swiss army knife in my pocket, but sometimes it could be uncomfortable or difficult to take it out of there.

I already saw a bunch of pocket clips online for swiss knives but found them a little bulky.
You also need to buy them. 

What if I wanted to do everything at home in my studio? Well… I designed these scales with a pocket clip attached that you can 3d print at home in under 40 minutes. 

What do you need

• Swiss army knife ( Huntsman or similar with 91mm scales )
• 2 little screws M2.3x6mm or similar ( screw holes are Ø2mm, 5mm deep // space for screw head is Ø4mm, 2mm deep )
• A tutorial video if you have no idea on how to change scales on your swiss knife ( Just like me )

Printing setting

No support // No brim

I used 0.35mm FAST // 0.20mm 100mms profiles from PrusaSlicer and setting for Prusament PLA 
I'm sure that your standard settings are good to go.

Notes

• There is a scale for the other side of the knife but you can print only the clip and scales for the clip.
• Clip and scales are separated for convenience if you want them in different colors as I did.
• Try to use a top/bottom fill pattern ( Hilbert curve has a really nice look )
