Description
Mount for a PINDA or other M8 sensor. Uses one of the stock hotend shroud bolt holes so this will NOT be compatible with a stock Ender 3. I designed this for use with Bosco Lau's Ender 3 Magnetic Hotend which doesn't use this screw hole. The back of the mount has a small ledge that is designed to be pressed along the bottom of the X axis plate to align the probe. While pressing upwards to keep the ledge contacting the plate you should tighten the M3 screw. You can see this small ledge in the 3rd pic circled in red. I've attached a .STEP version of the mount and a .f3z archive for modifying the design.
I'd recommend printing this model on its side with 3+ perimeters at a high infill percentage.
UPDATE: Tested this on my friends Ender 3 and it works great!
