Description
Â
I'm always using my caliper ruler to scratch my back when I'm sitting at my desk working. Last night I had nothing to do and my son went to bed earlier than usual, so I figured I'd make a back scratcher. Of course, it couldn't be a simple stick with a hand.
I would recommend printing with PETG or something of equivalent strength at the least. PLA may work but i haven't tried it so I'm unsure. The hinges are tight fitting so PLA may break when you're wiggling it in there.
The first hinge has a square cutout for storing the hand. The tip where you insert the hand is very tight fitting, but it needs to be, so it won't fall out in use. If it won't fit sand it little by little until if fits in snuggly
Â
You will notice small notches on the inside of the arm near the hinge. This side should be printed face up.
Â
The hinges also slightly differ, be sure they match this orientation.
Hinge closest to hand.                           Hinge furthest from hand.
