Description

Read the description in the original design for the usage and need design details.

To see actual prints of my design, check out the “Makes” tab (I print basically everything I design.)

In this version (I've called it a “remix” but I think both "versions" are equally valid), I've added hinge and locking mechanism so that the sleeve can be applied between Jobo tanks that have extensions on them. The original, being a good fit, couldn't slide over Jobo's locking bumps, so you were restricted to only using that leveling sleeve on the very end of the tank. This version makes it so you can place it wherever it is most useful.

Print Settings

Printer: X-one2

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: 0.4

Infill: 8%

Filament: GTS3D / eSun / Any PLA+

Filament Color: Black / Any

Notes:

You could make tweaks to the settings (0.2 resolution, for example) if you wanted to make it look smoother/cleaner.

Also, this is a print-in-place design, but it does also need supports (on build plate only) for a part of the locking tab. Don't worry, the supports snap away super easily though.

Also, I did add some mesh modifiers to my print, on the hinge area, and the locking tab, so that those regions could be a bit more durable. Play around with the modifiers, but I was happy with a 30% infill modifier in those two areas. THESE ARE NOT REQUIRED, but they are helpful.

Worth noting is that the 8% infill seemed a little flimsy. For fast printing, it's fine, and will work, but if you want it to be a bit more sturdy, you might wanna increase that to maybe 15%, and also consider increasing the mesh modifiers (mentioned above) to maybe 40% or so. It'll last longer with those tweaks, but will also take longer to print (of course)
