Description
This model is a little different from what we usually do in MiniWorld3D. Instead of a landmark or famous building, this is part of a series of objects representing art & design of the world. Together, they decorate a themed room in a miniature mansion!
This model recreates a colorful hand fan in the traditional tricolor swirl of Korea and represents Asia!

Handheld fans in Korea have a millenary tradition, as with other civilizations. Besides being a functional object, fans have had ceremonial and even royal status because the materials and craftsmanship elevated them to luxury items. The fan depicted in our model is a non-folding paper fan held by bamboo ribs, decorated with the Taegeuk or “Supreme Symbol” (Source).
MiniWorld3D is happy to bring this cultural model to life as a homage to the people of Korea. This model was created from scratch by hand and brain in parametric software to ensure printability, using photographs to create a beautiful and stylized version.
