Description

This flea trap designed to use heat & light to attract fleas. Then trap them with either soap water or sticky disc traps. It is similar to commercial traps like those found here.

A nice remix is available.  “B&B Tech” made a remix with an great feature.  Check it out. https://www.printables.com/model/658022-flea-trap

What else is required?

Some source of light/heat. I suggest these light sockets. They use springs to be held into place like for blow mold light decorations. However you can also use this type of light socket if you like.

E12 light bulbs. Old style (Green) incandescent works best because they generate more heat than LED. I have been doing some reading up on this. Green lights work best and if you can get it to flicker occasionally that’s even better. It tricks the fleas into thinking something just walked between them and the light and cast a shadow. So they jump at it.

OPTIONAL you can choose to use this type of flea trap stickers if you like. Read the reviews and shop around. I have seen fleas walk on these and struggle but still able to move around. If they land on their feet. Instead I prefer to use soap and water. You just need to make sure it doesn't spill or dry up.

THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE TOP model. Which file should you print? That depends on the style of light socket you have. The only difference in the two files is the size of the hole for the light socket. 21mm fits the screw type light sockets. 29 mm fits the spring loaded blow mold type light sockets.
