Description

This is a replacement part for an se.electroniccondenser microphone suspension support. You will need to print 2 of these rings to replace the shock mounted cord. This is printed using Sain Smart black TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane). The cross section of the ring is square 3 mm x 3 mm and is printed hollow. The inner circumference is 407 mm which translates to a radius of 64.78 mm. The TinkerCad file has been made public and can be obtained here.

Print instructions

No rafts / no supports
Resolution: 0.3 mm
Infill: 0% (hollow)

Filament: Sain Smart TPU black

Notes:

Need to coat the printing area with glue from a glue stick. This allows the piece to be easily removed. Don't forget to put some near the start position as well.

I used Slic3r PE to prepare the print file -
Using SemiFlex or FLEX 98A default filament profile.

Modity the vertical shell perimeter to 1
and the horizontal shell bottom layer to 1 as well as the top layer to 1.
This hollow square tube ensures the elasticity that is necessary for the part.

All the speed settings were dropped to 18 mm/s.
