eBike Water bottle 18650 case

This is a WORK IN PROGRESS. I still plan to make a full cover, the retainers are just temporary.

One of the pieces for an eBike project I'm making at my shop with things I've scavenged. It holds 8x 18650 cells. I run them in 4x banks on each side (2up and 2 down) and bridge together on the top. It puts out just above 15v which is perfect for my motor.

MAKE SURE TO ALIGN THEM MIRRORED on each side, I will not be held responsible if you wire it incorrectly.

I also just used IO shields that I cut down for terminals, proper terminal material would be better, but it works for my testing needs. If you have material that will fit inside of a spade connector, that would be ideal.

The spacing for the water bottle holder screws on my bike is 67mm, if yours is the same, it should mount right up. I made the holes a little small so I could drill it out to have a clean edge to thread into and adjust for screw head size, so keep that in mind.
