Description
My 30 year old aluminum hydraulic jack has been through some stuff. Most notably, the grip for the handle was disintegrating, so I thought I'd go ahead and fix it with 3D printing.
It's been so long since I bought this jack that I can't even recall whether I bought it at Autozone or Murrays, and the information sticker has been missing for about as long as the face pad for the jack. I don't know if this jack is similar to those sold elsewhere, but I'll say that it's handles diameter measured just a smidge over 27mm. I printed this grip in TPU leaving the opening at exactly 27mm so it would fit snugly on the handle.
I was so pleased with how well this grip turned out, I did model, print, and install the missing rubber pad for the jacks face, but didn't photograph that. I'll include that model with the grip here, and if I remember in the near future, I'll try to get a photo of the pad here as well.
