Description
A friend of mine needed a mount for this microphone (BeyerDynamic TG D71), so he can fixate it in place inside the drum. He places some foam beneath it and screws it in place.
The mount has 4 screw holes on the bottom, then it holds the mic in place with 2 static pins on one side, and 2 movable ones on the other side. There are 2 holes for threaded inserts which fit M2.5 (2.5mm) screws, which actually hold the movable pins in place.
I printed the movable pins from M3DS black TPU (flexible), but any solid material would work.
I might improve on the design in future, and remove the need for screws and threaded inserts.
Let me know if you'd like me to make some modification to the model for you.
Print suggestions:
- Material: Any could work, mine is Gembird Red PLA
- Nozzle: I used 0.4mm, with 0.24mm layer height. but I think you could go larger, there arent many fine details we need to preserve here.
- Supports: Needed just for the static pins, the auto-generated ones in PrusaSlicer, Orca and Cura work just fine.
