Description
A tool used to remove the preloader from the shock tube of a bicycle fork. I decided to do some maintenance on my shocks and didn't have the tool I needed for it.
This was one of those situations where my alternatives were buying a $10 part and waiting for 2-3 days to get it delivered to me, or getting one from a local bike shop for $65. 3D-printing one for about $0.25 and waiting about 40 minutes to get it was the correct answer.
---
NOTE: This is for removing the preloader; not for adjusting it.
This should fit most generic bikes, but double check before printing. The clearance on this part is 0.15mm, so also make sure your printer is well-calibrated, or scale the tool accordingly.
