Key Buoy - Flotation Device Keychain

This flotation device will help you locate your keys if they were to ever end up in the water. This would be more for your boat keys, or if you only have a few keys on your keyring, or just the most important ones. They won't support a keyring with a large number of keys. 

In order to make it support a larger number of keys the size gets a little ridiculous. I am working on a separate model that will support a larger keyring, and not look obnoxiously bulky.

On the outer edge of the cavities, there is a small overhang, this is the only spot that requires support. I used round white elastic cord around the outside. Of course, this isn't required. I just think it make it look more appealing. You can get 5yd of it for $0.97 at Walmart.  You will want to superglue your straps to you buoy.

I have two models uploaded. They are the exact same but differ in is size. 

100% can handle 5 keys

85% can handle at least 3 keys.

This is based just your regular standard sized, nickel silver, keys.

This also depends on the size of the key and what it's made of. They were both able to hold more than this when I used only my lightweight keys.

*****ATTN: This is not waterproof; it is water resistant. It will float for way more than enough time to retrieve it from the water, but if it is left in the water for a considerable amount of time water will eventually seep through the seams, and it will submerge itself. *****
