Description
Updated after a sugestion from Ghe.leguen made a single shafted version avalible so the bottom spinning wheel will not interfere with the vane.
I now have a few build options:
A single part vane you will need a buildplate of atleast 320x320 to print.
For the 2 part vane will fit on a 210x210 buildplate but requires 2 extra 10mm m3 bolts.
For the 2 part shaft you need 2 25 or 30mm m5 bolts
The updated 1 part shaft you need a 100mm or 90mm m5 bolt
You will need also need 2 625 bearings they are super common if you have a old pom wheel lying arround break it open and you will have 2.
You also will need 4 15mm m3 bolts for the pumpkins and 2 15mm or 10mm m3 bolts for the lid that clamps the cat vane… made the threadholes deep enough so most wil fit
I added 3 diffrent mounting brackets one with 3 screw holes one with slits for tyrips and one with a 25mm hole for a broom handel or something like that.
( If you need something else just make a model with a 5mm threaded hole )
You can print everything without supports. (with the 2 part shaft you need supports with the centershaft )
printed the pumpkins with 2 walls and 5% infill to keer the weight down. Also I would advise to use adaptive layer lines so the overhang prints nicer without supports.
all parts with screwholes I gace 4 walls just to give it a little extra strength.
