AMS Filament Labelling

I found it useful to have at a glance labels for each of the filaments loaded into an AMS.  When you have black in PLA+ and PETG, it can be hard to tell them apart.

I designed a unique filament tag for each filament and a holder.  The tag identifies filament details such as colour, plastic type and the brand.  The holder is attached to the front of the AMS and held in-place with double sided tape.

I printed each tag in their native plastic and colour, making the tag useful to see other visual effects of the filament, too.  The tags are also designed so that their text can be printed in a separate colour to the overall tag colour, making the text readable.

There are possibly thousands of filaments and brands, so I have only created a few filament tags reflecting my current needs.  I'm willing to create additional filament tags on request, too.

My print is made in multiple filaments brands and colours, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer.  No print supports required.  Leave me a comment ...
