HICTOP Prusa Extruder Fan Mount with Induction Probe

May 2016: A second design has been uploaded. The original HICTOP blower has been replaced with a blower that work in 360 degrees.

This is intended for HICTOP branded prusa i3 printers.

This is to replace the original extruder fan mount with one that can mount an induction probe for auto leveling. I tried several other locations and found this solution to be the easiest to setup. It is stable and close to the extruder head.

I've been using this for a long time now and it works great.

I prints entirely without support.

Notes:
Due to feedback, there are now two versions. The original upload was for a 12mm diameter induction probe (the one I use). 12mm probes have a 4mm sensing distance. Example probes include: LJ12A3-4-Z/BY (6v) and LJ12A3-4-Z/BX (12v).

There are also probes that have a longer 8mm sensing distance. These are typically 18mm in diameter. Since I do not use one, I don't have examples to list, but there are many.

I have also uploaded the editable (source) files. The models were created in Fusion360 (.f3d). I also uploaded a (.step) file for those who do not have Fusion 360. Enjoy!
