Beefy X525 13mm Drone Leg Landing Gear

I wanted a leg that was less likely to break and not look like the death claw that came with the original X525 kit. The hole in the bottom is for a 3/8" x .016 aluminum rod that can be cut to the length of your suiting.

This is printed with PLA+ from Esun. If you have not tried their filament, please do. All the strength of ABS without all the layer bonding issues.

Also added are some foam practice golf balls to the bottom for added protection. They are available on Amazon, cheap: http://a.co/3KKHgMH.

Attached is the 123D file. Feel free to adjust as needed for your printer or rod size.
