  • This thing a little howto for building a DIY MMU2s for a printer with an skr 1.3 board on the printer and a skr mini (or gt2560) in the MMU2s.

Wiring the SKR-MINI

• 3 drivers (DRV8825, TMC220X, A4988 ...) and configure the jumper to 1/16 to X Y and E0
  • X to selector Motor
  • Y to idler Motor
  • E0 to gear/extruder motor
• Connect PINDA to X MIN
  • BROWN = +5V
  • BLUE = GND
  • BLACK = SIGNAL
• Color selector to Z MIN pin
  • RED = SIGNAL
  • BLACK = GND
• Filament extruder switch ( IR sensor on the extruder) to Z MAX pin
  • VCC = 5V
  • S = SIGNAL
  • G = GND

• Add for wire from the SKR 1.3 (TFT) to the SKR MINI (TFT)
  • GND = GND
  • TX = RX
  • RX = TX
  • Z MAX Signal = RESET

Custom firmware for the MMU2 with a skr mini or GT2560 board (replace prusa firmware) :

You can/must customize the file /mmu2-diy/config.h to indicate the size of your bowden tube

you can include this file in your printer.cfg by adding (at the end of the printer.cfg) :
[include klipper/config/sample-mmu2s-diy.cfg]

Modify the parameter in the section PARAMETER TO ADAPT TO YOUR SETUP to match your setup
