**News:**
I have designed many whistles, you can find them in my **[Whistle Collection](https://www.thingiverse.com/threed-michael/collections/37167385/things)**.
These are just a few of my latest designs:
**WARNING:**
This is an emergency whistle and not a toy! It's extremely loud which can harm the ears, so please protect your ears and don't use it near other people or animals!
**Update 2023-03-24:**
I've designed an even louder, lower-pitched variant of this whistle that you can download **[here](https://www.printables.com/model/430499-tiny-emergency-whistle-incredibly-loud)**.
**Summary**
This keychain compatible emergency whistle is a variant of my big **[Emergency Whistle](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5897001)** - much smaller, but almost as loud as it's big brother.
**How to print:**
**All Slicers:**
Use a line width of 0.4 mm and a layer height of 0.2 mm, 5 top layers and 5 bottom layers. Don't use support and don't change the given orientation of the object!
The whistle requires correct positioning of the Z-seam - it shouldn't be placed in the narrow air passages inside the whistle. The Z-seam should be positioned as shown in the images above (the white dots represent the Z-seam). Use the “Z Seam Alignment: User specified” option in Cura or the "Seam Painting" option in PrusaSlicer to achieve this.
Print slowly to achieve sharp edges (max. 30 mm/s for walls).
**PrusaSlicer:**
Use default settings and manually paint the z-seam as in the pictures above.
**Cura Slicer:**
- Wall Line Count: 2
- Extra Infill Wall Count: 1
- Z-Seam Relative: ON
- Z-Seam X: 0
- Z-Seam Y: -50
- Enable Bridge Settings: ON
- Bridge Wall Coasting: 0%
- Bridge Wall Flow: 100%
- Bridge Skin Flow: 70%
- Bridge Has Multiple Layers: OFF
**Do you like it?**
If you have printed this design and you like it, I would be happy if your make is uploaded.
