Cylindrical Surface Sander
This wasn't my idea, I must say. I borrowed this tool after seeing it on Aliexpress. It seemed very convenient to me for working on curved surfaces. And since they also sell a 3D-printed model in the store, I decided to make a few modifications, including adding my own screw knobs.
As for how I assemble them, many of you may have already seen it in my previous works. But for those who are new here, here's a brief explanation: I tap an M3 thread in the knob, screw in the screw and fix it with superglue. This creates a reliable connection, and such a handle lasts a long time. The bolt used for this particular handle has a concealed head with a length of 18 mm. And, of course, I use an M3XD4.6XL3 nut insert.
Among the links, I've included various options for adhesive that I use. Any of them will work for all the projects.
In addition, I decided to create a storage case for three tools with different grits of sandpaper. Based on my experience with plastic, I usually find 2-3 different levels of roughness to be sufficient. As for the assembly of the box, I posted a video a few days ago, but in reality it is not much different. If desired, foam inserts can be cut out for the box, a link for which is also provided.
You can watch the assembly of the box here, but I'm sure you've already seen this video:
And in this video, there's a demo of the tool itself. But, to be honest, this video is basically about nothing, albeit short :)
