Carbon Filter Grid Creality K1
A few days ago, I finally had a great Creality K1 printer delivered to me. This device is so fast that in a few days I was able to create the number of projects that would normally take me a week on other printer models. Honestly, I had no idea it was possible to get such high quality prints at such an amazing speed.
After some small test runs, I decided to get started on application projects. Thanks to the built-in fan that regulates the temperature in the printing chamber, which not only improves the quality and temperature stability of printing, I had an idea to create a carbon filter for it, which captures the smallest particles during the melting of plastic, but also reduces the noise level, making the operation of the printer quieter and more comfortable.
To create this filter, I have chosen a variety of filter materials, including an activated carbon impregnated sponge used for soldering radio parts, and synthesizer, also impregnated with activated carbon, which is often used in household kitchen hoods.
Of course, I'm also considering making a granular activated carbon cassette to improve the filtration efficiency even further. However, for this I need your support and interest. If you like the idea, don't forget to give me a like - it will be my motivation to keep experimenting and sharing the results with you!
